The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

3 Aug 2012 - 11 Aug 2012 (12:00)
Theatre Oikos

Judas, haunted by guilt and despair after "selling out the Son of God", is in a catatonic state in hell.

A lawyer with a grudge against God launches an appeal on Judas’ behalf. The case is heard in purgatory, aka downtown New York - 2005.

Witnesses include experts (as long as they’re dead) from St. Peter to Sigmund Freud.

This groundbreaking play, by leading contemporary New York playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis is funny, thought-provoking and ultimately moving.
