Muscle

SHOCK N AWE

Muscle, love us or loathe us, men are everywhere.

We have the habit of popping up, often unexpectedly, in your beds, wombs, wars, worst nightmares and fondest memories.

We come, for better or for worse, in guises as disparate as grandfather and son, priest and lover, soldier and doctor yet apparently we all hail from Mars!

No wonder being a man is problematic; its dangerous, pressured, ridiculous, often funny and sometimes tragic, but it’s also capable of being something beautiful.

Muscle is a richly textured, emotional rollercoaster of theatre, dance, music and documentary inspired by extraordinary interviews with men and performed by an eclectic all male cast who will also be playing all the characters from Venus.
