One-off and open mic performances

ZOO Venues offers a variety of opportunities for performers to join in with our 2011 programme during the Festival. Each week we have evenings dedicated to comedy and to music in the Cabaret Bar at ZOO Southside, plus open mic events to showcase the variety of talent at the Fringe.

If you fancy performing in a more competitive environment, our near-legendary and not especially serious 'talent contest' ZOO Idol takes place every Wednesday at 10.30pm at Zoo Southside.

Perform at ZOO Venues in 2012

Programming for our 2012 Festival Fringe line-up starts after Christmas, but we're always keen to accept applications for next year and to meet people performing with us.

Our three venues feature everything from massive 200-seater auditoriums suitable for technically complex shows, to intimate 40 seater studio spaces, with a range of capacities in between, plus a cosy Cabaret Bar.
